Rod Wright, legally Rodriquez Wright II, is a photographer and filmmaker based in Nashville who has photographed more than 1,000 events. His work spans red carpets, concerts, political campaigns, galas, HBCU homecomings and weddings, and it runs through Leo Operations, the media firm he founded, and Washington DC Magazine, where he shoots his own stories.

His lens has covered Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Patti LaBelle, Paris Hilton, Sen. Raphael Warnock, Sen. Cory Booker, Rev. Al Sharpton and the Met Gala.
Events and politics
For campaigns and elected officials he shoots launches, swearing-ins, legislative sessions and election nights. Clients have included Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell, members of the Tennessee General Assembly, the National Black Caucus of State Legislators and the Memphis Grizzlies.
